The Battle of Plattsburgh Commemoration Committee will be hosting a fundraiser dinner, “A Taste of the Tavern” at the Plattsburgh Elk’s Lodge. Here is your chance to sample 2008 Israel Green Tavern fare and vote for your favorite soups, breads, entrees, and desserts. A cash bar will be available and music is provided by “Towne Meeting.” Wenches in period clothing will serve you. Tickets are $15 per person.
