EXPLORING BOPA:
FACILITIES:
Plenty of free parking is available. A picnic area is available (we do not prepare or serve food); lunch and beverages must be brought with you. There are ADA accessible restrooms located in our Museum facility. Upon request, period games can and will be made available for recess in a grassy, shaded area. Instructors will be on hand.
SAFETY:
We want your visit to be a pleasant experience. Students must be assigned in small, adult-chaperoned groups. All visitors need to be aware before their visit that art and artifacts need to be respected. Please do touch museum displays or objects unless encouraged to do so: human oils can cause artifacts to deteriorate and art to disintegrate.
MUSEUM STORE - THE HISTORY SHOPPE:
Our museum store has period-appropriate books, clothing, toys, prints, and "school tools" available for students, teachers, and chaperones. Many other craft and curious items are available for sale – there’s something for everyone. We encourage your group to visit the shop before departing.
