The Battle of Plattsburgh Association is located at 31 Washington Road, Plattsburgh, New York 12903 - Phone (518)566-1814. Hours of operation are Tuesday-Saturday 10:00am-2:00pm (year-round). Should you call and leave a message, we will return your call in a timely manner.
We encourage you to visit, explore, learn, and enjoy.

ARRIVAL
Upon arrival, please check in at the main office and parking area. You will be presented with a schedule and map for the day's events. At that time, you will be introduced to your guides. All tours are guided.

FACILITIES:
Picnic area is available. We do not prepare or serve food on the premises. Lunch and beverage must be brought. Bottled water will be available. There are two restrooms located in the auditorium and one in the History Shoppe. Upon request, period games can and will be made available for recess in a grassy, shaded area. Instructors will be on hand.

SAFETY:
We want your visit to be a pleasant experience. For their own and your safety, students must be assigned in small, adult chaperoned groups. Students need to be aware before their visit that art and artifacts need to be respected and not touched unless encouraged to do so. Human oils can cause artifacts to deteriorate and art to disintegrate. Thank You.

MUSEUM STORE - THE HISTORY SHOPPE:
Should your group decide to visit our museum store, we have period appropriate books, clothing, toys, prints, and "school tools" available for students, teachers, and chaperones. We encourage your group to visit.
