KeyBank Gallery

Julian Davidson - Battle of Lake Champlain
The KeyBank Gallery was made possible by the direct gift of the nationally-acclaimed Julian Davidson painting Battle of Lake Champlain and the continued support of KeyBank of New York.
The Gallery houses original works of art related to the Battles at Plattsburgh and the War of 1812. Works by nationally known and local artists are featured throughout the gallery.
The Association-commissioned work Close Action by Alabama artist Dean Mosher captures the moment of command decision aboard Macdonough’s flagship.

Press-Republican Theater
The Press-Republican Theater space is used for orientation presentations, meetings, and special events. Look to our events calendar for announcements of our speaker series and our newly-inaugurated movie and popcorn night.

Current Exhibits
The exhibit Secrets Beneath the Surface features forgotten artifacts from the Battle of Plattsburgh. Many of the artifacts discovered by area divers have never before been publically displayed. Get a sense of the wealth of information that can be gleaned from exploration of the lake bed and learn why careful study and preservation are critical to maximizing the value of such efforts. It will remain through 2008. Check the events calendar for announcements of future exhibits.
