2009 Holiday Ornament

The Battle of Plattsburgh Association is proud to introduce a new ornament for sale in The History Shoppe. Artist John Purdy, who also painted Culver Hill-September 6, 1814 and We Can't Hold the Ford provided the original sketch of a solemn sailor longing for home during the War of 1812. The custom cast-pewter, double-sided ornament has a five-square-inch design area.
